Martine Lowes

Martine graduated from the University of Teesside in 2007 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy.  Since graduating she has worked as a care assistant, then as a locum physiotherapist assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.  She then went onto run a clinic treating various musculoskeletal conditions.  Martine is now a locum within occupational therapy.  In conjunction with this, she works within the field of neurological physiotherapy with mentoring from a senior neurological physiotherapist, having completed the Basic Bobath course (assessment and treatment of adults with neurological conditions).  She has recently completed a course in Hydrotherapy and has been offered a place on the MSc Advanced Clinical Practise (Neurological Rehabilitation) at the University of Teesside, which she has accepted and will begin in September 2009.
