Dr Bill McKinlay

Bill has 30 years of experience in Clinical Psychology/Neuropsychology. This includes working in brain injury research, and clinical work in neurosurgical units and rehabilitation units. It also includes assessment and treatment of a broad range of psychological disorders, and teaching various groups, mainly at postgraduate level. His current practice includes two main clinical areas, brain injury and more general psychological symptoms (including anxiety and depressive disorders). Bill carries out neuropsychological and psychological assessments, and provides rehabilitation input and psychological treatment. He has extensive medico-legal experience, including giving evidence to Scottish and English courts; and participation in training for expert witnesses and lawyers (from UK and elsewhere) in medico-legal aspects of personal injury.
