CMS offers a range of psychological services. There are two main types of service.
  1. Brain Injury
CMS provide services for individuals who have sustained a traumatic brain injury in the community to maximise their independence. Community based rehabilitation is a goal-directed, intensive, time-limited programme. The objectives are to work with an individual in their own home to improve their adjustment to their environment and to enable them to reduce their dependence on support services.

  2. Treatment and training in relation to stress related disorders
CMS provides psychological treatment of anxiety/depressive and related disorders, and takes private referrals from Occupational Health Services, other mental health professionals, and GPs.

CMS also provides training, which would generally be directed, at least in the first instance, to supervisory (i.e. promoted) staff. This is intended to help staff recognise the signs of stress in themselves and their staff and to provide basic guidelines to managing stress.
